“As a paraplegic for the past 50+ years (since age 20), I have traveled the globe in a wheelchair in my business career and personally with my wife.
These travels have taken me to 5 continents and almost 40 countries throughout Europe and Asia as well as North and South America.”

EUROPE

Rob Trent is the Director and Founder of AccessAdvisr (no 1 reviews website in Europe and the UK), where you can find thousands of reviews for places, including hotels and other accommodation.

Hotel Lanzarote village is Rob Trent’s favorite place to stay – enjoying the sun on the Spanish Canary island Lanzarote.

“It’s just far enough from the busy part of Puerto Del Carmen to be quiet at night. Oh, and we love Lanzarote!”

Lanzarote Village hotel: Rob’s favorite

Positioned about 500 metres from the coast line in a gradient which is ok for a powered chair user, but might be a bit of an effort for anyone using a manual chair.

The accommodation was good and there was level access all around the hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The pool doesn’t have a hoist but there were always people willing to help.
