Are you a wheelchair user and you want to travel? Where to even start planning a trip? What about budget? Travel company? Fly, drive, or take a boat? Weather conditions, food, accommodation, health care, how do you begin?
Well, we think it is best to start with some inspiration. Today there are countless websites, channels, podcasts, facebookgroups and other social media where you can find wheelchair users sharing their day out, tips and tricks. Some have huge budgets, others not so much.
These four couples from Italy, France, Poland and Scotland publish in their own language and sometimes in English too. It is very easy to use translation tools to know their stories.

There is a different category of wheelchair travelers, the die hard globetrotters, the I will and can make it happeners, that are quite rare and very inspirational. We like to introduce to you five couples who have years of experience in travel planning, preparations, photography and have made their travel adventures a shared experience with their rather big following online.

Andrea and Lidia
Andrea and Lidia have lived their dream. In a six months journey in 2023 they collected memories to last a lifetime. From the holy Uluru in Australia to the most southern city in the world in Argentina, they enjoyed every moment, good and bad.
A life changing trip around the world that you can follow on their Instagram page and their Youtube channel. They traveled to South Africa, Japan, Australia, Hawaii, Argentina and back to Europe.
We have chosen Lidia and Andrea as the number 1 to go to for inspiration, because of their beautiful videos and their unfiltered way of sharing their choices on the road. Sometimes they experienced not so accessible places as needed. Enjoy their timeline, explore and learn!
