JOBS at accessible travel news media

Fastest growing travel sector

Many reports can be found online discussing the outcome and predictions for the future on accessible travel as the fastest growing travel market.

Reality versus ideal travel and tourism: the majority of airlines, hotels, restaurants, theme parks and museums, historic sites and tourist attractions are not accessible for everyone. The need and necessity for that is bigger than life, every day routine reality shows its results are slower than the slowest turtle speed ever measured.

What do we need?

Very helpful and actually, necessary is accurate, up-to-date and checked and verified accessibility information on every single location, accommodation, airport, zoo and basically everything else people love to visit. This will never become a reality, so the best we can do is collect as much as possible detailed information.

Many resources are providing this. Review websites, Youtube channels, accessible travel bloggers and vloggers, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter (X) pages and many more. It is a huge thousand island adventure, in many languages, countries, some international, large or small with one thing in common: they are not connected. We have been collecting checked and verified accessibility information since 2011 and want to keep doing that on a larger scale.

Some articles or pages are country information guides, where everyone can add tips in the comments, link included. It is easy to add this, if you think it should be added to the page content, you send us an email. We need:

GUIDE BUILDERS

Social media is a blessing and a curse, and if you have limited time and energy, it is the first thing you will not use anymore. On the other hand, trying to catch up with all channels, sites, pages and accounts is too overwhelming, but at the same time it asks for a one page you want to follow where many other posts will be shared. This is what we have been doing since the start on Facebook. We need:
