TUR4all Travel is the winner of the Awards of Excellence 2025 in the category Accessible Travel Company
The Accessible Travel Foundation raises awareness on the importance of accessible travel. Every other year the Awards of Excellence are given to companies, non-profits, travelers and others who stand out from the crowd when it comes to raising awareness or contributing to the world of accessible travel.
TUR4all Travel is Spain’s first accessible travel agency with purpose. The team designs and organizes barrier-free travel experiences that allow everyone — regardless of their accessibility needs — to enjoy the world without limits. Profits are reinvested in social projects that promote equal opportunities for people with disabilities, because for Tur4all Travel, travel is not only about destinations, but about rights, dignity and shared joy.

We created a top 5 need to know questions and this is the first blog where the winners of the Awards of Excellence are introduced.
When did you start your work and why?
TUR4all Travel was born from a simple but powerful idea: that traveling should be a right, not a privilege. For years, many people with disabilities have faced invisible barriers that kept them from discovering the world. We wanted to change that. Our journey began within IMPULSA IGUALDAD, an organization that has fought for decades to ensure equal opportunities for people with disabilities. From that foundation, TUR4all Travel emerged — a travel agency with purpose, dedicated to making sure every person can experience the joy, freedom and connection that travel brings.
Tell us a bit about your city and how do you experience it accessibility wise?
We work throughout Spain — a country that truly has it all: world-class culture, breathtaking landscapes, and a gastronomy that’s reason enough to travel. From the art-filled streets of Madrid and Barcelona to the Andalusian courtyards of Córdoba, the vineyards of La Rioja, and the seaside villages along the Mediterranean, Spain offers endless ways to experience beauty and authenticity.
What makes it even more special is how accessible it’s becoming. Many monuments, museums, beaches, and natural parks now feature accessible routes, while transport networks, hotels, and restaurants are increasingly designed for everyone.
For travelers with accessibility needs, Spain is more than a destination — it’s a sensory journey through art, history, flavors, and landscapes that can be enjoyed without barriers. Warm hospitality, inclusive design, and the Mediterranean spirit make Spain a place where accessibility and pleasure go hand in hand.

What is your favorite accessible destination?
Spain is our greatest inspiration. From its historic cities to its coastal villages, Spain is full of beauty, culture and warmth — and increasingly, accessibility. You can roll through cobblestone streets in Toledo, taste wine in an accessible vineyard in Valencia, feel the sea breeze in Barcelona, or explore UNESCO sites like Granada and Santiago de Compostela without barriers. Each region tells a story of inclusion and shared experiences. For us, Spain represents what accessible travel should be: authentic, diverse and open to everyone.

If you could spend 1 million on improving accessibility in your country, what would you do?
We would invest in training and awareness across the tourism industry — from hotels to museums, transport operators and local governments. Accessibility is not only about ramps or adapted bathrooms; it’s about understanding, empathy and design that welcomes everyone. With 1 million euros, we’d build a national network of accessible tourism ambassadors, ensuring that accessibility becomes not an exception, but a standard. Because when we design for everyone, we create better experiences for all.
What would you like to share with our followers?
Travel is more than movement — it’s emotion, discovery and belonging. At TUR4all Travel, we believe that every traveler deserves to feel that spark of adventure, to arrive somewhere new and know they belong there. When we break down barriers, we don’t just open doors to destinations — we open hearts and minds. So pack your dreams, bring your curiosity, and remember: the world is TUR4all — travel is for everyone.
Thank you very much for this opportunity to share our story and for your continued work to promote accessible travel worldwide.
