Accessible tourism arrives on Italia.it: Village for all network’s facilities and destinations now searchable on the national portal
Village for all, partner of the Ministry of Tourism, has provided the Tourism Digital Hub with the information and guides that power the new accessibility page on Italy’s official tourism portal.
A page entirely dedicated to accessible tourism is now live on Italia.it, the official portal of Italian tourism. The result stems from the collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Village for all – V4A®. The Italian accessible travel platform has provided the Tourism Digital Hub (TDH) with all the necessary information and the guides published over the years by its network.
Italia.it partners with Village for all V4A
Thanks to the inclusion on Italia.it of Village for all useful links and guides, all facilities affiliated with the V4A network and destinations certified as D4A (Destination 4 All) are now directly searchable from the national portal. Travelers with accessibility needs — people with motor, sensory, or cognitive disabilities, older people, families with young children — can now reach accessible facilities through the same channel that promotes the country’s entire tourism offering.
This marks a significant step forward for the recognition of accessible tourism. This travel realm now enters the official portal on equal footing with all other sectors, with full visibility and dignity. It is a shift in perspective that moves accessibility in travel queries from the niche market to that of quality hospitality for everyone.
