Where is your favorite accessible place?

You can nominate a hotel, a resort, a product or service, an app, a museum, a theme park, a zoo, an airport or a tourist attraction anywhere in the world. It is important to add the city and country of your favorite place.

How?

You can send an email with the name and website of your favorite accessible place or use the form on our website if you have extra information you want to share about your accessible favorite place. If not, just add yours to the list here.

Name + City + Country + Website

Add the name, city and country and share why you think it is the best. You can use the website form. All suggestions will be added to our voting form page. Send us your favorites before July 1, 2024.

The awards are an online token of appreciation and recognition. It is for those who do everything they can and beyond to meet all needs for every customer. They are leaders in doing so leading by example.

Nominate your favorite accessible place

Accessible Favorites by Public Vote is an honor to win. It is a vote by all showing appreciation and recognition of services and products provided.

It is not just about accessibility is in order, check the box on the list. It is about the people who have made all the efforts. It is about who built the ramps, who made sure tactile markings are in place, who created the translations, the braille, the information guides.

Who are these people starting up a business and make sure the toilet is indeed accessible, the parking space is extra wide and, also very important, let the world know they think accessibility is important.

Accessible Favorites by Public Vote

Here are a few winners who have collected many votes in previous years. Who will be in the spotlight now?

Awards of Excellence

In 2019, the first Awards of Excellence have been given to businesses who have made excellent contributions to the accessible travel world.

In 2021, again Awards of Excellence have been given to people who contribute on a large scale to a more accessible world. In 2023 no awards were voted for.

Awards of Excellence 2025

Awards of Excellence is a different digital kind of token of appreciation. Every two years, we will offer some extraordinary businesses this award because of the work they do. This award is international and available in different categories.

During 2024 you can vote two times to see your accessible favorites being rewarded for their work. First, you vote for your accessible favorites, after the summer a list will be presented with the selected few that will be on the list for the 2025 vote.

Make sure this online award will be given to that place you love. Many places will make it to this list, only a few will be selected for the Awards of Excellence 2025.

After the Accessible Favorites by Public Vote will have claimed their place in the spotlight, we will focus on the Awards of Excellence 2025.

Who gets your vote?

There are travel agents and tour companies you can register to vote for. We recommend Tours around Michigan in the United States and Hunter Valley Tours in Australia, as they do everything and beyond to make sure their tours are accessible. Not only that, they are promoting their accessible tours for the whole world to see.

Some people build and sell amazing products, such as foldable shower chairs (Facebookpage), or warm and water resistant blankets (Facebookpage) for wheelchair users.

Others spend their time collecting accessible toilets and share them in an app, or work daily on a review website or app that you can contribute to as well.

A LOT of great things are out there. Tell us about yours, and we will add it to the list, or add it yourself.

You can go here to vote and leave your favorite. Do not forget to include the name of the city AND country of your accessible favorite place.
