Animals gather at the river and you should be able to see elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, dik-diks, waterbucks, warthogs and reedbucks all year round. Furthermore, the park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. It is very important that you bring your own medical insurance. In case of an emergency, we do have very good medical facilities and hospitals in the cities should you need them. We recommend you check with your doctor for the advisable vaccines when traveling to Tanzania; however, you should ask about Malaria, typhoid and Hepatitis A. Additionally, when visiting the Tanzania you will be in equatorial and tropical regions – be sure to ask your doctor about possible medication. While on your tour, it is important to use a lotion or spray against mosquitos in the room.
Not recommended, because regulations DO NOT allow the entrance of dogs to the National Park.
