Could it have to do with a seasonal spark, that the 3 winners are located in the southern hemisphere? Sunny side up?
The Australian access review website Wheeleasy collected over 1000 votes – an amazing result, well done!
Wheeleasy – from their website:
”In our land of the ‘fair go’, you would think we all have a basic right of access. But many people are still isolated and excluded. They get stuck, give up, and stay in. And it’s all their friends and family who get stuck too. Many of them can’t lead the life together that lots of people take for granted.
For anyone with mobility needs, the biggest problem isn’t just physical access, but a lack of access information. And it’s not just for people in wheelchairs, but for anyone who has a problem getting around occasionally (people who use sticks, or walkers, or anyone with dodgy knees or a bad hip, even parents with prams).
So we built the WheelEasy Access Information web app. We launched it in Sydney and are now taking it Australia-wide. It’s a sort of TripAdvisor for access. A one-stop-shop that brings together all access information into one place.”
What better way to describe a stay at Accessible Penyaringan than a review of guests who stayed there:
”We had an incredible time at Accessible Penyaringan. The villa, facilities and garden are beautiful. Very clean, organized and of course for accessibility it’s unparralelled in Bali. They have a hoist, pool hoist, commode, accessible van and ramps.
The beach is less than 15 mins away and transport is provided. Feri and Marshall our hosts were so lovely and helpful. We can’t thank them enough. Also the incredible tours with Bali One Care. We highly recommend looking into Accessible Penyaringan if planning to stay in the Sanur area.”
