We asked an outdoor travel expert about ‘a must-go-experience’ in Switzerland and he recommended:
“Lauterbrunnen. That valley is insanely gorgeous. In fact, I think it inspired J.R.R. Tolkien’s town of Rivendale in the Lord of the Rings. So many waterfalls. Huge limestone walls. Spectacular. You can ride a train all the way up to the Jungfraujoch.”
The Jungfraujoch is a multi-story mountain complex built at 3454 meters (11.332 feet) on a saddle between the Jungfrau and Monch mountains. There are good wheelchair accessible toilets and all internal facilities are accessible via passageways and lifts.
To use public accessible toilets in Switzerland, you need a Eurokey. This key is also of use in Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic. With this website: WC Guide you can find accessible toilets in Switzerland. There is also an app available in app stores.
