Accessible Travel Online Team

We proudly present our team!

Travelers, hotel addicts, tourism specialists, inventors, researchers and assistance dogs

They are seasoned travelers, hotel addicts, or passionate campsite lovers.

Some of them founded accessible travel companies.

Others invented cool products like portable transfer slings or pathways.
Some of them know all about travel for the visually impaired. Three people in our team have assistance dogs.

Above all, they all have a passion for travel.

Read personal words or quotes to live by that our team has shared here. A beautiful post to read and share, as these words are truly powerful.

Social Media

Elizabeth (USA) manages the ATO social media accounts. Connect with her on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.

Elizabeth has been fascinated by other cultures and languages since childhood. Her first international travel experience was as a Mobility International USA disability rights exchange delegate to Costa Rica.

She returned to Costa Rica for a semester while pursuing a B.S. in Spanish at Minnesota State University-Mankato. Also, she was the first wheelchair user from her university to study abroad.

From Costa Rica to Tanzania

After all that, she then pursued a M.A. in International Leadership at the University of St. Thomas and studied abroad in Tanzania. Since then a strong commitment to promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities in international travel and education was on her priority list. You can read her blog, The Global Access Files to communicate this message. Elizabeth is excited to join the AccessibleTravel.Online team and currently lives in Minnesota.
