United States airlines services
Find airline accessibility services with all major airlines in the United States.
Airlines on this page have extensive information for wheelchair users, travelers with assistance dogs or guide dogs owners and hearing impaired or visually impaired travelers.
Also find information for every (major) airport in the United States on what to expect in boarding a plane or how to exit.
At the airports we serve, there are two possible options for getting from the boarding area onto the aircraft (or from the aircraft into the airport):
A jet bridge – an enclosed walkway that directly connects the airport terminal to the plane
Ramp stairs – movable ramps that lead from the ground up to the door of the plane
Both the existing airport facilities and the aircraft flown can impact which boarding option is available for your flight.
Alaska Airlines has the most brilliant service, as you will find on their website information on boarding (ramp stairs, jet bridges) at all airports they fly to.
You can also find information for accessibility services with European airlines and with Australian airlines here at Accessible Travel News.
